Hey Josh. Happy New Year to you also. Hope you had a good Christmas. My girlfriend is doing OK now so I should have more time to spend on the site. Looking forward to your mix, I notice you have been busy recently dropping mixes & they have all been quality. Elwood is also hopefully going to do me a mix which should be good shit also. I need to line up some more people but I plan to drop a show every few weeks as well as the usual posts. I am most likely going to visit the US in April, I'm still deciding whether to vist the US or Japan. If I go to US you will have to tell me the spots for records in the D as I may go there for a few days.

What up Paul?
Off to a great start! Your doubles of Track 8 (Tenderoni?) - MAD DOPE. It's one of the weaker songs on the tape, yet you rip it up and give it new life, which is what doubling is supposed to do. (duh!)

I am finishing recording an old CD project , after thats done I will get going on my contribution.

Hey Elwood, Thanks for the shout. If you send me a mix half as good as the Soul Glo one I'll be very happy. I did the mix in one take, I have cut up Tenderoni about 5 or 6 times before, but the one on this mix was probably the worst time I did it. But I couldn't be bothered to re do the whole mix or edit it, so I left it, as it was as the mix as a whole was OK. I don't have the time at the moment to do a perfect mix or the attention span. It is what it is, but I can do much better. Any way I think you should do more posts as they are always dope. Looking forward to your mix. Peace Paul

Wow. Sounds flawless for one take! trust me, I been fiddling with the same mix for 6 months in pro-tools, its not worth the hassle.

Hey Elwood,
I don't really have the attention span to keep going back to the same mix & editing it together. It was bad enough doing this mix live about 3 or 4 times over a week, I start to get sick of listening to the same tracks. I've got loads of mixes saved where I worked out perfect mixes but got bored after the first 4 tracks & moved on to something else. I still love mixes where people spend ages on them & edit loads of shit together, you have to have some mad patience to do that shit. I'll do one soon but I think I would have some kind of breakdown if I was on it for 6 months. With this one I mixed the tracks, then stuck a quick intro at the start then talked over it later. I'm trying to do this more like a radio show where you just do it & thats it. It's more disposable than doing a classic mix, but I suppose at the end of the day it's just something to listen to. I still want to do a mix and spend ages on it one day, if I can fight the boredom of working on the same shit constantly.
